Age Requirement: The classes are designed for children aged 4 to 13.
Registration: Parents or guardians must complete the registration process on behalf of their child and provide accurate information.
Payment: Full payment must be made before the start of the class.

Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods through Stripe: Major credit and debit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Mobile wallets, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Bank debits and transfers, such as ACH and other region-specific methods. Other regional payment methods as supported by Stripe (e.g., Bancontact, iDEAL, Alipay).
Fees: All fees must be paid in full before the first class. Additional charges may apply for makeup classes, late payments, or any special services provided.
Late Payments: In the event of a late payment, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your child’s enrollment or subscription until the balance is paid in full.
Schedule: Classes are conducted online at scheduled times. Participants must be available at the scheduled times.
Behaviour: Students are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors and peers. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the class.
Participation: Active participation is encouraged. Parents should ensure their child attends classes regularly and completes assigned homework or practice tasks.
Data Protection: Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for class purposes and will be protected by our privacy policy.
Recording: Classes may be recorded for quality and training purposes. These recordings will not be shared publicly.
Supervision: Parents are encouraged to supervise their children during online classes to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Cancellation by Us: If Chess Confidence cancels a class, a makeup class will be scheduled, or a refund will be provided.
Cancellation by You: If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment, please notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund.
Missed Classes: No refunds will be provided for missed classes. However, we may offer a recording of the session or a makeup class at our discretion.
General: Chess Confidence is not responsible for technical issues or disruptions caused by third-party services or internet connectivity problems.
Liability Cap: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
Injury and Accident Waiver: Chess Confidence is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or any unforeseen incidents that may occur during classes or coaching sessions. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with chess activities and agree to release us from any liability.
Materials Provided: All materials provided by Chess Confidence, including but not limited to instructional materials, lesson plans, videos, slides, puzzles, progress reports, and teaching methods, are the exclusive intellectual property of Chess Confidence. These materials may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used for any purpose without prior written permission. Participants are granted access to these materials solely for personal learning purposes in connection with the program.
Photographs, Videos, and Games: All photographs and videos taken during classes and tournaments are the copyright of Chess Confidence. We reserve the right to share any games played during classes or tournaments for educational, promotional, or training purposes.
Internet and Devices: Participants must ensure they have a stable internet connection and access to a suitable device (computer, tablet, etc.) with a camera and microphone for online classes.
Software: Participants may need to download specific software or platforms to access classes (e.g., Zoom or similar tools). Details will be provided upon registration.
Breaks: Parents should encourage children to take appropriate breaks during classes to avoid fatigue.
Comfort: Ensure your child has a quiet and comfortable space for attending online classes.
Support: Parents may contact our support team for any questions or assistance during the program. Contact details will be provided upon registration.
Updates: Important updates about schedules or class content will be communicated via email.
Misconduct: Chess Confidence reserves the right to terminate a student’s participation without a refund if they repeatedly violate the code of conduct.
Non-Compliance: Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in suspension or termination from the program.
Chess Confidence will not be held liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or other emergencies.
Voluntary Participation: Parents may choose to provide feedback or testimonials about their experience. These may be used for marketing purposes with their explicit consent.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Queensland, Australia.
Changes: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
